In this study, the researcher adopts the method of event sampling to observe the guiding behaviors of proficient teachers in kindergarten’s role play. By the code analysis of research data, the researcher attempts to show the general situation of proficient teachers’ guiding behaviors in role play with the quantity description. In order to reveal the essential situation of guiding behaviors of proficient teachers who have been to the stability stage of career development more comprehensively, the quality analysis to play context and activity instance of teachers’guiding behaviors also can be used.Research results are as follow. The frequency of proficient teachers’guiding behaviors in role play is high and stable. Most of guiding events are launched by teachers who mainly focus on "play plot" and "play material", while the children pay close attention to "seeking help" when they launch initiatively. The guiding mode of teacher who uses "self" as medium and pay more attention on "play material" is in words mainly which centre upon notifying information and making inquiries and advices. The guiding results are mainly about the children’s acceptance, and teachers show more neutral mood in role play. In addition, through quality analysis, the researcher also integrate abundant activity instance to analysis the process and characteristics of proficient teachers’guiding behaviors in role play, and also reveal the feature of guiding event from start to end.Having known about the general situation and feather of proficient teachers’ guiding behaviors in role play, teachers have lots of things to do to better guide play activities. They should adequately focus on children’s need and support role as play material and playmate. Besides, teachers who should realize themselves as an observer and participant in role play also learn to appreciate children’s play and listen to children’s requirement.
