Art learning outcomes can help students to realize their own value in thematerial world, to establish control of themselves and construction of emotion model and topromote students’ self-value realization." Critical thinking" is from the introduction of theconcept of western culture, whose purpose is to distinguish between right and wrong and topursuit the truth. Critical thinking training is the need of the development of students’psychological and self consciousness. Strengthening the students’ critical thinking training bythe arts education promote students’ self consciousness development, improve thecomprehensive quality of students, improve students’ ability to adapt to the future society,help them to improve social insight and information discrimination, and has very importantsignificance for students of their own ability and personality development.The thesis consists of four parts. The first part is the basic introduction, the backgroundof the subject source and the research meaning and innovation of this paper, which can makereaders had a general understanding of the whole. The second part focuses on the basicconnotation of critical thinking and its main characteristics were introduced, so that thereaders can have a more profound understanding of the topic. The third part mainly discussedthe value, possibility and necessity of developing critical thinking in art education ofsecondary schools. The fourth part is the research on the specific implementation of criticalthinking by the classroom teaching case, which aim is to cause the teacher of middle schoolart teaching reflection in teaching, to guide teachers to change the mode of teaching way andthe relationship between teachers and students.
