With a new round of curriculum reform,developing student’s critical thinking is becoming more and more attention in basic education. However, the research about it in China is still in the stage of exploration and development. It has not yet formed a theoretical and practical system. Which literature data of combining critical thinking with subject teaching is not a lot,especially the articles of combining with the mathematical discipline. In view of this,the article will mainly concentrate on some research work about Zhang Siming teacher how to develop students’ critical thinking in mathematics teaching on the basis of previous studies at home and abroad, combined with our own familiar mathematics. Expecting to be able to draw some practical advice, on the one hand, which provide a successful example to the vast number of classroom teachers to learn,on the other hand, which can promote the development of the curriculum reform process.Zhang Siming is a national grade teacher of the High School Affiliated of Peking University.He worked in Peking University high school math set since1975, He devoted himself to study mathematics teaching and the cultivation of the students’ ability, has obtained the prominent achievement,and made outstanding contribution for the middle school mathematics teaching. Under the guidance of Zhang Siming, his students publications in journal papers many times, and won awards in modeling competition in the country, there are quite a few students won the innovation award, these achievements obtained, Investigate its reason with Zhang Siming teachers in teaching in the cultivation of critical thinking to them are inseparable.This research mainly adopts literature analysis, case study method and interview method. First the research discusses the meaning of the critical thinking, features and its relationship with creative thinking, and then through the Zhang Siming in mathematics teaching how to cultivate students critical thinking, summed up some teaching practice of Zhang Siming for your reference specific include:creating a good teaching atmosphere, changing the way of evaluation--multi-scale evaluation of students, teachers should act as a "target" of students.
