In recent years, the recruitment of graduate students scale with the scale is expanding,the quality of the liberal arts graduates, especially in the aspect of scientific research innovation ability, has always been the focus of attention and reform of colleges and universities. Critical thinking is the important precondition for creative thinking form, and is the beginning of activation of graduate students' innovative thinking. Most researchers think that critical thinking is the combination of skills and dispositions. Both sides should not be ignored. To study the current state of creative thinking dispositions of liberal arts graduates in China, and find the reasons for the state of creative thinking dispositions, so as to find some education strategies of enhancing their creative thinking dispositions.This study used quantitative and qualitative research methods. In quantitative research method, with the revision of Peng Meici's Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory Chinese Version(CTDI- CV), 707 liberal arts graduates in H university were investigated at random. All date were analyzed with SPSS19.0 Chinese Version, the statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, T test, and single factor analysis of variance. In qualitative research method, using semi-structured interview outline, the research conducted in-depth interview among 12 liberal arts graduates in H university,and summed up its influence factors.The investigation result shows that:(1) View the situation as a whole, 707 liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition was positive.Among the seven dimensions,they performed well very well in inquisitiveness, but truth-seeking, systematicity and critical thinking self-confidence were negative.(2)There were significant differences on the aspects of gender, grade level, degree type, discipline, undergraduate university, and paper publishing. whether the interdisciplinary was no significant differences.The result of the interview shows that: Education experience, critical thinking skill and academic authority will influence liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition.Aiming at the current situation of liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition and influence factors, this paper puts forward the following four aspects of the proposal:(1)In graduate education,the critical thinking teaching is unique and effective way to enhance liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition;(2) Mentor's support and encouragement for liberal arts graduates' research interests will play an important role in strengthen liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition;(3)Popularization of critical thinking skills will break through the barriers for liberal arts graduates' critical thinking disposition.(4) Liberal arts graduates should develop good habits of critical reading and writing to enhance knowledge accumulation and critical thinking disposition.
