A Study On Application Of Sport Education Mode In College Volleyball Teaching

Physical Education Teaching Mode, which is a bridge between the basic physical education theory and the practice of physical education teaching, takes an extremely important position in physical education system. Drawing on some excellent foreign teaching concepts and having them as a reasonable reference under the actual situation of China’s college physical education will be bound to play a multiplier role in the reform of university physical education.Sport Education Mode, which is put forward by famous American sports scholar Siedentop, is a kind of course and teaching mode based on game theory. After20years’ practice and improvement, it has become a more mature contemporary PE course and teaching mode that is highly praised in western developed countries. But it is still in the primary testing stage in domestic physical education. Thus, Study of the mode will benefit the more comprehensive understanding the characteristics of physical education curriculum development in today’s world, and will provide references to the reform of physical education course in new century in China.This paper adopts documents method, expert interview method, questionnaire investigation method, teaching experiment method, mathematical statistics method and logic analysis method respectively, and deals with the data and questionnaire by T-test. We apply Sport Education Mode into the selective course of volleyball teaching in college and found it conforms to the development tendency of college physical education course reform.This paper, based on the basic theory of Sport Education Mode and combined with teaching concept and teaching practice of domestic physical education, explores the application of this new mode in physical education teaching in colleges and universities. The teaching practice shows that it is an effective way of applying Sport Education Mode to volleyball teaching in college. It can promote students’participation in sports and is helpful in students’development in physical function, physical fitness and sports skills; it can promote the formation of better learning attitude in students, and cultivate their cooperative team-spirit and improve their social adaptability. Sport Education Mode is teaching mode with a more complete theoretical system, which has better influence on improving their sports skills, tactics and attitudes towards learning, etc. It will provide reference to the implementation of the reform of Physical Education in China.
