At present, the studies, on Ideological and political education, which from domestic andforeign scholars are numerous. However, specifically for the political education ones arerarely. With the globalization development of world economy and politics, the citizens of ourcountry are facing more and more challenges of values. The socialist values of the presentyoung gradually reduce, conversely, the value of the bourgeoisie is accepted by more andmore people. Some problem that the socialist political sense of a few people is thin and theenthusiasm of political participation is low, force us to re-look our political education.We choose the political education of the United States and German to analysis, becausethese two countries are the typical representative of the Western developed countries, and notonly they have a leading position in economic, but also they have their own contribution inpolitical education. Meanwhile they have formed political education system that is conformedtheir countries. The system enlightens the political education of our country.This article will compare the political education of the America and German from fouraspects that theories, goals, contents and methods, and then we will get some enlightenmentto the political education of our country. Therefore, the article is divided into five parts. Thefirst part is the compares on the political education theories of America and German, and theircharacter. The second part is the compares on the political education goals of America andGerman, and their characters. The third part is compares on the contents of the politicaleducation of these two countries, and their characters. The forth part is compares on thepolitical education, and their characters. The fifth part is the enlightenment to politicaleducation of our country from the political education of America and German. The last partwill get some problems of the political education of our country from the analyses of theabove four parts. Then it will methods are based on Marxism historical materialism and thetheory of human subjectivity, and they conform to the condition of our country.Through the analysis, we find that Chinese political education, on the training ofexcessively emphasizes the importance of knowledge, and lack of the education on thepolitical sense of identity, so there’re a series of problems, for example, political consciousness is light, enthusiasm of political participation is low and appear “politicalindifference” and political conflict phenomenon. Moreover, our political education is lack ofsense of levels and times and appears “Pour Pyramid” phenomenon. In addition, the politicaleducation has not a reasonable position, and doesn’t clearly understand the differences ofpolitical education, ideological and political education and moral education. These problemslead to the political education has not its own “legal position”.About the research methods, the article uses Marx historical materialism and dialecticsthought to analysis problems, and get the methods to problems with approaches ofmultidisciplinary crossing and combing theory with practice.After analysis, the conclusion is: with the development of world economy and politics,the trend of globalization is growing, and the political education need pay more attentionunder the impact of divers values. It can not only to spread political knowledge, but to havethe practical significance. That is to say we should train the citizen’s political subjectiveconsciousness, and let people have a sense of political identity, then internalized as theirpolitical behavior. The whole society need to make the effort to achieve the goal.
