With the development of the market economy, China needs to open its ideologicaland political education by creating new forms of ideological and political education, newcontent and new ways to adapt them to the needs of the market economy. Rapidglobalization means that the world interpenetration of ideologies has become anirresistible trend. Our past ideological and political education isolated from the world andits development is gone. Absorbing the experience of other countries, especially thesuccesses of many years of ideological and political education in market economies ofdeveloped capitalist countries, has become crucial. Promoting the development ofeducational theory and practice of China has become ideologically and politicallysignificant. Germany is one of the Western developed countries, whose ideologicalsystem is very sophisticated, and which effectively represents the ideological andpolitical education theory and practice of the rapid development of the capitalistcountries. Political education in college is both typical and representative of Germany,because it has unique features. The ideas, system, curriculum and teaching methods makeefficient use of the country, government, social and political education resources forstrengthening and improving the ideological and political education work. By analyzingpolitical education in Germany, ideological and political education theory at Germanuniversities, its objectives, content, approach to politics, economy, culture perspective,this paper attempts to deepen understanding of the differences betweeb China’s andGermany’s state systems, historical and cultural traditions, social basic developmentneeds, and through comparative analysis, combined with China’s actual ideological andpolitical education, sums up the level of understanding of the operational level ofinspiration and reference.This paper is divided into a total of five parts:The first part is an introduction, which describes the background and significance ofthe topic; research status, study methods, innovations and core concepts are defined.The second part examines political education at German universities of. An overviewof the theoretical concepts of meaning and content of political education in Germany;introduce political education of college German objectives, content, approach, and theHumboldt University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin as a case study toillustrate this.The third part compares political education at German universities with Chineseideological and political education. The political education of college ideological andpolitical education in our country and in Germany were to compare from the objectives,content, methods of the three aspects, the analysis and characterization of theSino-German common ideological and political education exist. The fourth part examines ideological and political education with respect to theGerman Enlightenment. According to the contents of the above three parts, with theactual education in Chinese universities, research summary suitable for ideological andpolitical education of inspiration and reference, including: the ideological and politicaleducation is also political advantage of the German national government and the rulingparty; Ideological and Political Education in China should vigorously promote thesocialist core value system of education; ideological and political education in ourcountry to strengthen civic education; ideological and political education of citizensshould emphasize capacity-building content; ideological and political Education systemin China should deepen cultural level; build political education ideological and PoliticalEducation system content-led; further improve the ideological and political educationschool curriculum system; vigorously strengthen ideological and political educationcourse teachers’ construction; rich information resources of ideological and politicaleducation colleges; improved methods to implement the ideological and politicaleducation.Part six, the conclusion.
