China is a country of poetry. In the ancient time, there were a lot of famousbooks about poetry such as The Book of Songs and Songs of Chu. Then Chinesepoetry developed with great steps that was the reason why we could enjoy a variety ofliterature forms, such as poems of Tang Dynasty, Cis of Song Dynasty(a type of versepopular in the Song Dynasty), as well as Qus of Yuan Dynasty (a type of versepopular in the Yuan Dynasty)and each has its own character. China is never lack ofgreat poets. Many great poets, including Jian’anqizi (the seven great poets in Jian’anDynasty), Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi and Xin Qiji, left us valuable and brilliant literaturebequests. In these magnificent works, the poets’ feelings and wishes, personality andvirtue, interests and ambitions could be seen without any difficulty. Although there areplenty of differences in the literary works by different authors and in different epochs,there is still something common in their spiritual characters, the most important ofwhich is the Chinese traditional humane spirit.This paper summarizes the traditional humane spirit that is contained in theseancient poems into three parts. They are spirit of home and motherland, spirit ofhuman and families and spirit of life.Permeating this spirit through students in ancient poetry teaching is not onlygood for building the students’ perfect personality but also for inheriting thetraditional humane spirit and developing Chinese traditional culture. If consideringselecting and editing teaching materials on ancient poetry nowadays, it is feasible topermeate humane spirit through students in daily teaching, but it didn’t have idealeffects because of several adverse reasons, such as teachers, students, environment,and so on.This paper tries to discuss the tactic of infiltration of humane spirit in ancientpoetry teaching. The whole paper is departed into three chapters and the maincontents are as follows:In Chapter One, traditional humane spirit in ancient poems is discussed includingthe definition of humane spirit, the intension of traditional humane spirit, thefeasibility of infiltration of humane spirit from the point of view of teaching materialsand the traditional humane spirit contained in the selected articles. In Chapter Two, the paper analyzes the present situation of infiltration ofhumane spirit in ancient poetry teaching in high school. It also analyzes adversecauses for infiltration of humane spirit in ancient poetry teaching and the deeperreasons.Chapter Three is the key chapter of the paper. In this chapter, it discusses thetactics and methods of infiltration of humane spirit in ancient poetry teaching from thepoint of view of teachers, students and course resources. The main ideas are asfollows:First, the teachers should develop their general capacity and change theirthinking patterns.A. Teachers should establish a new viewpoint of poetry teaching which is thesecurity of teaching.B. Teachers should overcome the impatient and impetuous emotion. Teaching isthe most important.C. Teachers should build good social aura and try to be learned teachers.Second, teachers should value the permeation of humane spirit through studentsand help students strengthen feeling experience by using scientific methods.The paper presents the main idea from the points of view of building proper aura,developing the students’ interests, valuing chanting and experiencing sentiment,learning to enjoy reading more kinds of literary works.Third, teachers should make full use of course resources to develop students’literary capacity and help them to accumulate more literary knowledge. The paperexpounds the idea from the point of view of valuing the accumulation of reading,recommending students extracurricular reading, composing school-based teachingcourses and making full use of Internet resources.
