Volleyball in universities is the key in sports, and therefore improve the volleyballknowledge and skills is that we should and must complete the workers of the task. Toachieve this goal will need to choose science reasonable teaching methods. The newteaching idea, request sports teaching should be subject to give priority to thedevelopment of students as the center, the fully arouse the enthusiasm of the educationworkers, mobilize the education teaching actively explore various to build new goodrelationship between teachers and students, and students’ subjective play, to improve thestudents’ comprehensive quality reasonable effective teaching method of enthusiasm,fully reflect the students’ subject status, let them become the study master. Physicalteachers’ on physical education teaching continuously research and discussion of theprocess, found that more teaching methods, such as the independent learning method,cooperative learning method, the inquiry learning method, but the understanding andapplication of these methods, there are a lot of problems.Based on the role playing law as an example, this paper discusses the new teachingmethods about the teaching application of volleyball, by using the method of literature,expert interview,questionnaire, and group the contrast method, mathematical statisticsmethod, scalee valuation method, logic analysis, in serious analysis and referencehimself research achievements, and on the basis of the existing methods to carry on thesummary and perfect.Through the questionnaire survey to the results of the processingand analysis, it is concluded that the role playing method is feasible, and through the16weeks teaching experiment, get detailed experimental data and the data from softwareSPSS mathematical statistics analysis, the results show that, with the volleyball electivestudents using role playing method, its effect is better than that of traditional teachingmethod (P <0.05). Through the teaching experiment: role playing the feasible method;Role playing method of good copy; Role playing method of the transformation of good; Role play the law can be evaluated optimal. So as to prove the role playing volleyballelective course is the method of a kind of effective teaching method. So, will the roleplay method into the university volleyball elective course of attack-defense practice,with the trend of the development of physical education curriculum reform. At the sametime, role playing method not only apply touniversity volleyball elective courseteaching, and can provide valuable reference for other sports professional teaching.
