The Sociology Analysis Of The Elderly Women、health And Its Influencing Factors

With the development of socialist economy and the changes of system, people’s needs to material culture become more and more, one of the most important needs is health, initially people only concerned physical health and now besides ensuring physical health, psychological and social health are also necessary. People owned consciousness of self health and disease prevention become much more than before. National health not only relates to personal life, but also for the development and prosperity of the whole country. For our country, the social status of aging (Exactly called the feminization of aging)(In2007, the proportion of women at60years old and over60years old in China is51.2%. In2050the proportion of elderly women in the aged will be forecasted to around54.9%, about216.45million people, increase3.2times than2000and the growing rate beyond that in elderly men) This status makes us put more focus on the health problem of elderly women which is a vulnerable group as an important measure to promotion the social development.This thesis carried out quantitative research through the health questionnaire section in the third survey on the social status of Chinese women in Jilin province and processed case interview to some community residents in Jilin province, to realize the elderly women’s health and the health problems they are facing to and analyze through sociology theory and relevant knowledge we had learnt, to use the combined method of statistical analysis and literature analysis to analyze the data, and to conclude the social influencing factors of elderly women’s health and hope to increase the health level of elderly women. This thesis consists the following parts:the first part is the overview of the defining of concept and relevant theories; the second part is the statistic analysis of the status of elderly women in Jilin province; the third part is the analysis of social influencing factors of elderly women’s health; and the fourth part presents effective suggestions and measures about the health problems of elderly women.
