Menopause is the interface between women from menstruation tomenopause transition between this period will be more than20years experience,is the development of life of women must go through the natural process ofmenopause is a transitional stage of life health and disease. Women entermenopause later, due to reduced hormone, the body tends to decline each organsystem, plus the usual amount of exercise significantly reduced, some womenwill show physiological discomfort, such as irregular menstruation, obesity, skinwrinkles, declining balance, poor cardiopulmonary function, hot flashes, poorsleep, dreams, and fatigue, weakness and other symptoms, and psychologicaldiscomfort, such as anxiety, irritability, depression and other symptoms ofdepression. At present, the number of menopausal women living in the world,even more than ninety percent of menopausal women are suffering from varyingdegrees of symptoms of menopause problems. With the failure of ovarian function, other glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands start to becomeactive, hormone levels appear disorders, changes in metabolic processes andmood disorders, therefore, women have to deal with these issues by improvingthe physical and psychological stability. In1946, the definition of the WorldHealth Organization (WTO) on the concept of health has been more demanding:"Health is not only the absence of disease and weakness, but also includinghealth, healthy mind, a good body of social adaptation." With the acceleratedpace of society, women occupy in social production increasingly importantposition, the number of people with mental illness rising health awareness inpeople for the deepening, we tried from the medical, physical activity, lifestyleand daily diet and other aspects to take preventive measures. Yoga believes thatprevent self-fulfilling any obstacles are that the discomfort caused by the mentalstate of mind of the control change. These obstacles or defects are: disease, slow,doubt, incontinence, respiratory disorders and no rhythm of life shaken, they arederived from the body or the mind, therefore, means completely healthy bodyand mind from damage [2].Oriental fitness methods and theories in this context,the integration of psychological research and development, physiology andlifestyle in one of a very important practical significance. Conservation ofancient yoga has a special significance for the body, is a rational exercise ofwomen, women’s life from youth to middle age there are three important stages:(1) menstrual period;(2) pregnancy and childbirth;(3) menopause. These are thewomen living in a period full of temper, and the importance of a milestone [1]. This study will explore how yoga affects postmenopausal women in body andmind, as well as the benefits of yoga asanas and pranayama practice formenopausal women, they spend more help change the life stages of menopause.This study focused on women launched in recruiting qualified Xinghualingmenopausal women between40-60years of age20as the research object. Ofthose20subjects on the behavior of the15weeks, the three stages of yogaintervention, intervention in the first seven weeks, and the third stage at the endof the intervention effects were evaluated twice. Evaluation of general health(blood pressure, heart rate, weight, waist circumference, body fat rate, lungcapacity); healthy physical condition (sit and reach, standing with one foot);menopausal symptom distress (kl scale) degree; health-related quality of lifestatus (sf-36scale). Using SPSS17.0software for statistical analysis, the data arethe average of each group plus or minus standard deviation (x±S) said, usingpaired samples t-test group within significant difference test, when P <0.05indicates that there is statistically significant.The result:1. Yoga exercises can improve the general health of menopausal women.2. Yoga can improve the physical health status of menopausal women.3. Yoga can ease the symptoms of menopause problems.4. Yoga exercises can improve the quality of life of menopausal women.
