Physical education teachers continuing education is an important way to enhancethe level of Secondary School Physical Education Teachers for Teachers’ Ideology andoperational capabilities of great significance. With the economic and socialdevelopment, the manner and content of secondary school physical education is alsochanging. Effectively by continuing the education of such a teacher training physicaleducation teachers to adapt to new teaching goals. Therefore enhance the effect ofcontinuing education of physical education teachers is the key to improve the level ofschool physical education teachers. In this paper through Quzhou physical educationteachers in continuing education status of the investigation further explores theproblems and causes of the continuing education of physical education teachers.Through questionnaires and interviews, the survey has the following majorfindings:(A) Have a significant impact on gender in the form of physical educationteachers to participate in continuing education, female teachers tend to choose asemi-full-time or full-time amateur studies due to domestic constraints, and toparticipate in continuing education.(B) The title of impact of the physical education teachers actively participate incontinuing education, job classification is an important motivation for the physicaleducation teachers to participate in continuing education, which led to its skillsupgrading in continuing education and training is not the main purpose.(C) The practical effect of the physical education teachers to participate incontinuing education with the subjective perception of difference, although themajority of teachers think that the quality of business skills and ideas is the mainpurpose of continuing education, but the practical effect of participating in thecontinuing education tend to the acquisition of interpersonal and qualifications.(D) Physical education teachers continuing education to increase to continue theteachers’ professional identity, the specific mechanism by the homogeneity of theinteraction between the physical education teachers, group identity, and then rose tothe recognition of occupationalIn the analysis of the structure and function under the framework of the researchalso found that the training system potential function play a role in the mechanism of physical education teachers, continuing education for teachers of interpersonalrelationships, thus contributing to the generation of PE teachers’ professional identity.In addition, through teacher continuing education awareness survey, the paper alsofound that the mode of the existing physical education teachers continuing educationinconsistent with the target of teachers’ personal involvement. These actionsinconsistent goals and institutional goals affect the realization of physical educationteachers to continue education significantly.
