The continuous education for senior middle school teachers aims at enhancing teachers' political, ideological and professional quality who have achieved teachers' qualification. This thesis mainly refers to post training after gaining academic credentials. On the basis of over-all analysis of the basics and the present situations in Jiao nan senior middle schools, more emphasis is put on the teachers' recognition and requirements for the investigation, therefore the corresponding counter measures and suggestions are put forward.The thesis mainly includes three parts. The first part is present situation investigation, including the basics and progressing situation, training contents, training style and restricting factors, with question-and-answer papers investigation emphasized and combined with statistics, visit, consulting data. The results are as follows: The tasks for senior middle school teachers' academic credentials have been completed, but the rates for middle and senior positions are relatively low. Continuous education network system and constitution construction give an impetus to guarantee teachers' further education, but there is still much for improvement. The teachers' requirements for further education are common, the majority are in favor of scattered and sparetime study.The second part is the present situation analysis. The majority realize the importance of further education, for which there are inner pushing force as well as outer pressure. It should aim at after-credentials education and improving levels. Teachers who intend to adapt to quality-oriented education and the future study society must work to learn and learn to work, to be a "learning teacher". Teachersshould have modern educational ideas and teaching ability, reasonable knowledge structure and over-all creative abilities.The third part is counter measures and suggestions. To build and perfect urging systems, creating a harmonious atmosphere and enhancing the teachers' inner pushing force. To perfect the continuous education scores registration system, directly connecting it with appraising, hiring and promotion. As for the expenses incurred, the profits should go to those who have invested.
