Lesson study is an important form of primary and secondary teaching and research, with a very important significance in promoting the formation of teaching and research culture in schools and teachers’ professional development. In recent years, the lesson study at home and abroad has been fully developed. In China, scholars and teachers, according to our actual teaching situation and necessary forms, keep adjusting lesson study to make it more responsive to our teaching and research activities. Lesson study is a "from the inside out" teaching research method and its momentum should come from the actual needs of a school’s teaching with a strong situational and unique characteristic. Only starting with the universality of the theoretical construction is difficult to achieve the breakthrough of the lesson study. Therefore, this study takes the basis of theoretical construction of lesson study into account and analyzes the implementation process of Lesson Study to enhance the value of the lesson study, characteristics and improvement strategies through the primary lesson study case tracking and observation.This study uses qualitative research methods, I collect classroom lesson records, after-school seminar records, teachers’ training records and school lesson study summary records and the teaching of the text data, and then I organize and in-depth analyze the implementation process, value, features and improvement strategies of the lesson studies. The main contents include:The implementation process analysis of lesson study. Based on a typical case of lesson study, I analyze the topics of the lesson study and training, especially teacher teaching, classroom observation and after-school discussion process, to grasp the practice of the teachers’ lesson study process in details.The Characteristics and problems of lesson study. I dig out characteristics and problems throughout the implementation process of lesson studyThe value analysis of lesson study. Through the lesson study process, I summarize the development of teachers’ professional knowledge and the value of the overall development in schools.On the basis of above studies, I propose strategies to improve the lesson study.
