China is in a period of transition, social transformation and economic transitionwhich brought social conflict are affecting the social life. The problems of familymembers of the people with disabilities are getting more social concern after adisabled woman drowned her twin sons. Vulnerable groups of family members ofpersons with disabilities have a great influence on the development of the cause forthe disabled, the construction of their harmonious families as well as theconstruction of a harmonious society. Therefore, these groups of people should bethe concerns of the society, and this thesis uses the case study method in theperspective of the theory of social support to explore different ways of service tomeet the needs of families at the level of individuals, families, groups andcommunities. This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is theintroduction which mainly analyzes its source and the significance, sorts out theproblem at home and abroad and describes the study design and the study ofinnovation. The second chapter focuses on venture philanthropy and B project,including project profiles, implementation and process. The third chapter introducesthe project which carries out the day-to-day visits to the individual family member and hotline counseling activities. It also summarizes the personal achievements,reflects the shortage and gives suggestion for improvements. Chapter IV describesproject carried out by family members at the family level including the appeal ofpolicies and children’s programs. It also summarizes the achievements at thehousehold level, reflects the deficits and gives suggestion for improvements. ChapterV describes the projects carried out by family members in school, as well as themutual aid organization. It also summarizes the achievements at the household level,reflects the deficits and gives suggestion for improvements. Chapter VI describesprojects carried out by volunteers, and the mutual help in the community. It alsosummarizes the achievements at the household level, reflects the deficits and givessuggestion for improvements. Chapter VII is the conclusion and discussion. Theearlier part of argumentation comes to the conclusion of this topic, and it discussesthe impact of this conclusion and its deficiencies. Although meeting the needs of themembers of the people with disabilities at the perspective of social support theoryhas some limitation, but considering its applicability and effectiveness, B projectcase studies is worth studying.
