The Study On The Cultivation Of Positive Social Mentality Of College Students

Social mentality is the macroscopic state of mind, it has two sides of positive andnegative. And it is the transformation for the psychological environment between order anddisorder in two states. Nowadays, the social is in the state of rapid transformation anddevelopment. And the contemporary college students, their sense of mission and sense ofresponsibility make them withstand the tremendous psychological pressure. When the positivefactors of social mentality get more, it helps college students build a positive mood andemotional experience and provides positive nutrients for healthy psychological environment.At the same time, the mood of harmony will inspire more positive energy and generate moreexcellent psychological quality. It is good for the formation of healthy and stable state of mind.Then it can achieve a virtuous circle between social mentality and psychology environment.On the contrary, if the social mentality of negative emotions are more than positive feelings, itis easy to produce relatively pessimistic attribution habits, such as anxiety, irritability,loneliness, extreme mentality. Also it will lead to malignant development of psychologicalenvironment.Therefore, in order to more accurately grasp the overall situation of current collegestudents’ social mentality, this paper will be divided into four parts to carry on the analysisand research:The introduction part, firstly it puts forward the view that comprehensive development ofstudents is based on the psychological harmony,points out that fostering positive socialmentality of college students is the important content of harmonious psychology. Then basedon a review of studies on social mentality of home and abroad, this paper demonstrates thetheoretical research and practical significance of fostering the positive social mentality ofcollege students. This paper further points out some problems existing in the current research,and puts forward the research method and the innovation points.The first chapter, it is started with the analysis of related concept, and summarizes thebasic characteristics of the current positive social mentality of college students. It uses thefrontier theory of positive psychology, social psychology theory and Marx’s theory as a support of this theory, and discusses the significance of cultivating college students’ positivesocial mentality.The second chapter, based on the investigation of College Students’ positive socialmentality questionnaire, it concludes the specific performance of college students’ socialmentality, and makes a detailed analysis of the factors affecting the social mentality.The third chapter, it proposes measures to foster positive social mentality of collegestudents. Such as Advocating “actively” philosophy of education, strengthening the positiveguidance of mental health education, improving the construction of teachers’ team, payingattention to positive education, creating a positive atmosphere.
