Studies Of Psychological Dredging In Ideological And Political Education In Higher Learning Institutions

The ideological and political education is essentially the ideological and political work on people, of which subject and object being real people, starting and ending points targeting man. Therefore, in order to do good ideological and political work, we must take full account of various factors of man. As an important factor, man’s idea is an unnegligible keystone. Thus, the psychological dredging is indispensable to solve man’s ideological problems. The report to the Seventeenth Party Congress has called on us "to strengthen and improve the ideological and political work, to pay attention to the humane care and psychological dredging, and to deal with interpersonal relationships in a right way." This has provided us with important guidance and a right direction for psychological dredging. In the context of fierce competition in society and cultural diversity of the times, the higher learning institutions playing an important role in society shoulder the important task of training socialist builders and successors, and, at the same time, as an important place to perform the ideological and political education, they are also faced with a series of problems in their ideological and political work. In order to do a better job in ideological and political work and to maximize the function and role of the ideological and political education in higher learning institutions, it is imperative for us to improve our psychological dredging work for college students. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a rational mechanism for psychological dredging. For this, we should actively explore and improve a long-term mechanism of psychological dredging in ideological and political education in higher learning institutions so as to improve the effectiveness of the ideological and political education and promote the comprehensive development of students.This paper firstly describes the difference of psychological dredging and psychological consulting, psychological guidance, psycho-educational and psychological health, reviews the history of the development of our country’s ideological and political education expatiates upon the meaning and principles of the psychological dredging in ideological and political education. Based on that, this paper analysis the main problems of psychological dredging in ideological and political education, that is, lacking of understanding of psychological dredging in ideological and political education and education carrier of psychological dredging, the reasons for these problems are that the research of psychological dredging theory needs to be raised, the moral quality of the performers of psychological dredging should be improved, the ideological and political education team don’t form an effective joint force. In order to do a good job of psychological dredging for college students, it should emphasize on team construction of the performers of psychological dredging in ideological and political education in higher learning institutions; improve the quality of the object of psychological dredging in the ideological and political education in higher learning institutions; perfect the information platform of mechanism of the psychological dredging and the service system of psychological counseling, strengthen the defense of psychological crisis intervention and psychological disease; innovate methods of psychological dredging in the ideological and political education in higher learning institutions and widening its pathway; establish good environment of educating people, strengthen the construction of campus culture, respect the principal position of college students as the " people oriented", in order to strengthen the combination of psychological dredging and humanistic care in ideological and political education in the higher learning institutions.In short, application of the psychological dredging in ideological and political education and establishing a rational mechanism of psychological dredging have important theoretical and practical significance for better performing the ideological and political education and improving the effectiveness of the ideological and political education in the higher learning institutions.
