Although school education has made remarkable achievements, there are still some problems, especially reflected in the failure to highlight the subject of the "person" Students are the existence of life. Every student is a unique individual life, and each person’s life history is not exactly the same. Therefore, education should be carried out according to the characteristics of the students. However, because of the mechanical understanding of the students in accordance with the specific route and regular continuous development, school education becomes a programmable process of ignoring the non-continuous development of individual. What’s more, the existence of the student development is obscured.From the development point of view, human life is not always a continuous, uninterrupted continuity of development, but also greatly, discontinuous non-continuity of development. The development of this non-continuity is of great significance and far-reaching influence, or even a turning point. Therefore, non-continuous development of the students must be given considerable attention. Non-continuous development is caused by some of the inevitable non-continuity of events which deeply lie in human existence. People will encounter, as long as people are alive, a variety of non-continuous events. Otto Friderich Bollnow considered such events included crisis which has a major threat towards life, encounter which has a decisive role to the future life, adventure and frustration, etc. This is not only the form of non-continuous development, but also the form of non-continuous education. Crisis, encounter, adventure and frustration may interrupt the continuity of human life, but can bring good opportunity which contains tremendous educational value. That is to say, school education, which is to promote the development of the individual, should tap its educational value fully, instead of ignoring these non-continuous events. Educators should guide the students to deal with all kinds of non-continuous events, in the ways of awakening, warning and appealing, sprinkling love of education and using educational wisdom, to promote the healthy growth of the life.
