Large-scale university enrollment have led to the rapid increase of the number of students; the implementation of the elective system and the credit system have broken the traditional "class" concept of management; the introduction of the sociological concept of "community"; and the reforming of University Logistics. All of these factors caused a new student management-students’community as an important platform for college students management. At present, there are three typical patterns of students’community management in our country universities. That is, the traditional management based on co-management of the various functional departments; the socialized and semi-socialized property management that part of the management functions separated from the university and exercised by the property management company; as well as the college system management which considered the students’community as the basic unit of the students management and gave fully play to the educational function of the students’community. In order to make the study more deeply, the author mainly utilized the forms of questionnaire survey and interviews, and selected several universities to send questionnaires and combined with individual interviews to show the problems and advantages, in order to grasp the current situation of the college students’community management more clearly.1. The traditional management takes the advantage of centralized management and the disadvantages of defined the students’community functions simple; various functional departments couldn’t recognize their rights and responsibilities; the quality of service was not good enough; the students couldn’t take part in management fully and so on.2. The socialized and semi-socialized property management takes the advantages of the enhanced convenience of students’lives; improved the quality of service, and takes the disadvantages of some negative effects to students’study lives because of the students’complicated community surrounding environment; neglected the educational function of students’community; lacked the sense of belonging to the community; neglected the students’spiritual needs and so on.3. In contrast, the college system management takes the advantage of the construction of infrastructure reflecting the educational function; organizational structure and operating mechanism are perfect; students’activities and cultural construction are more colorful, and takes the disadvantages of the distribution of students’dormitory, students’participation and coordination among the various departments of the university and so on.The author compared three management patterns in the aspects of the students’ community facilities, cultural construction, and satisfaction of students, thus concluded that the college system management is the best one among these three, which not only respected the dominant position of students, but also played the role of the education of the students’community more fully. On the basis of existing research, the author thinking about how to improve the management level of college students’community.
