Research On The Management Of The College Students’ Associations

The college students’ associations are of great significance to strengthen the construction of campus culture, enrich the extracurricular activities of students, to cultivate and develop the students’ interest, to improve the students’ comprehensive qualities, strengthen students’ social practical abilities, as well as to promote the students’ growth. Nowadays, it has become an important subject to strengthen the management of students’ associations, especially to play a better role in it.In recent years, with the gradual deepening of educational reform ideas, the college students’ associations have flourished with the increasing number of associations, the more abundant sorts, and the more attention paid from the colleges. In the meantime, the construction and management of college students’ associations has been strengthened, which achieved good results in return. However, according to multiple factors, there exists prominent problems in the management of colleges’ and students’ associations their own, the role of the students’ associations by far cannot satisfy the needs of the students. What’s more, its value has not been fully explored and reflected. The foundation of college students’ associations in Xiangtan Vocational and Technical College is well-established, but there are still some problems in the management, which reflects the trend of college students’ associations overall development.The thesis discuses how to develop college students’ associations better and promote the role in it with the breakthrough point of the management of college students’ associations. Starting from the status of college students’ associations’ management of students in the Xiangtan Vocational and Technical College by questionnaires and interviews, we analyze the problems and reasons existing in the management of Xiangtan Vocational and Technical College Students’ Associations, and put the related theory into practice. From the two aspects of strengthening the external and internal management of college students’ associations, we can put forward the specific and targeted countermeasures by improving the associations’ management system, by playing a role in associations’ management institutions, and by stepping up efforts to increase the supports and guidance to students’ associations, which can not only connect the theory with practice, but also provide the guidance for the management of the college students’ associations.
