Study On The Private College Academy System Institution From The Perspective Of Universal Education

Talent cultivation always acts as the basic function of the university. With the constant development of higher education popularization and the demand of higher education connotative development, some higher education institutions begin sequentially to reform the talent cultivation pattern and to explore the implementation of the academy system. The academy system forms the unique talent cultivation pattern by the inheritance of Chinese ancient academy spirits and the reference of the organizational form of the foreign residential college system. Meanwhile, as the population growth rate decreases, the crisis of the student resource of high education begins to appear, which causes the huge pressure and challenge on the existence and development of private colleges. Private colleges must explore the school-running characteristics, improve the quality of cultivation and take the road to the sustainable development with the method of innovative construction.Under such circumstance, this research regards the construction of academy system as the effective way to improving cultivation quality of private college education. The first part states the general theoretical research, the summery of the theoretical foundation and idea source and the analysis of conceptual connotation, structural system and main characters of the talent-cultivation academy system.The second part is the practical fundamental research. We can learn about the general situation of the private college institutions development through the investigation and research. Besides, summarize the problems in the process of talent cultivation beyond the professional education. Meanwhile, analyze reasons and feasibilities to realize academy system in our higher institutions.The third part is the case research. Taking the Chinese university of Hong Kong whose academy system is the most maturely developed as example to analyze the main characters formed in the process of academy construction from the perspective of holistic education. Experience reference and shortcomings improvement provide the thinking and method to academy system of private college institutions.The fourth part is the method research. Under the perspective of holistic education, how to construct the academy system in the private college institutions is explored from the five perspectives: construction goal, construction principle, construction contents, construction method.
