This study investigates the government responsibilities in rural preschool education, analyses the existing problems and causes, and puts forward possible suggestions to solve the problem,taking the A County with the agricultural production for example.There are some problems about the A county government’s responsibility in the rural preschool education development. The government management is not in place, as to the ruaral preschool education lacking effective regulation. Because of the vacancy of financial function,the preschool education lacks the material support of development. With the absence of planning functions, pre-school development is unbalanced.Teachers’ stability is poor,and the professional quality of teachers is low.The cause of these problems mainly includes,lack of sense of responsibility, responsibility being not clear, government behavior’s self-interest, the lack of the system.Aiming at the problems and causes, this paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions:the government changing ideas as to enhance the government responsibility consciousness, perfecting the management system of the rural preschool education, investing more in financial in order to ensure the implementation of preschool education funds,constructing education administration accountability system.
