Research On The Present Situation Of The Sports Art Curriculum In The Common College Of Hebei Province

As the physical education curriculum reform, new sports art gradually comes into theuniversity physical education, which contains aerobics, sports dance, rhythmic gymnastics,street dance, yoga, etc. Whilebuilding up students’health, it also makes students master theskills more easily. In addtion, sports art curriculum also can improve students’appreciationand aesthetic judgement with its stron performance, art and sense of times. All thesefunctions accord with the demands of college students’ physiological and psychological need,so it has become a common university advocating curriculum. At present, many collegesacross the country have adoptted it, especially in the more developed city universities.By means of literature study, questionnaire, statistics and logic analysis, with126teachers and1020students of17universities in Hebei province as research object, based onthe present situation of Hebei university, this paper researches the sports art curriculum fromfollowing four points: First, the current situation of sports art in Hebei universities; Second,the influence sports&art caused on students’ conscious behavior; Third, students’satisfactionof teachers’ teaching; And fouth,the sport field and equipments. This paper investigates theexisting problems and the influencing factors of Hebei university sports&art class. It tries toput forward some constructive reform measures and proposals for the better development ofsports&art in Hebei province.This paper summeries six problems that exist in Hebei university sports&art class. First,sports&art in Hebei universities is showing an upward trend. This type of course hasgradually become the campus popular sports courses, but the sports art class in universities ofHebei province is of less species, lack of diversity. Second, the sports art class is popular withstudents. It has been fully recognized by students. Students’awareness of "sports art" comesfrom the courses schools opened. However, students generally think these courses can notmeet the demands. Third, students are generally satisfied with teachers’ teaching, but in orderto make the better development of sports&art teachers’ teaching has further improvement.Forth, sports&art teachers’ professional skills are relatively weak. Many sports&art teachers major in track and field sports, balls or else, so it is hard to guarantee the teaching quality.Fifth, current university sports&art teaching plan is comparatively thorough, but teachingreference books are insufficient in most universities. With only the library books, teachingmaterials are in a state of lack. Sixth, teachers generally mentioned the limitation of sports artteaching facilities, which is bad for teaching effect.
