How to improve after-school sports training, how todevelop its function well, it is worth of our reviewing and exploring. After checking the related article, wefound that there is few study on after-school training in colleges. So far the articles about the status studyand analysis of after-school training in universities in Hebei are haven’t been discovered yet.To understand after-school training situation in Hebei ordinary further learning institutions, andprovide the basic recommendations to the relevant departments, this paper focus on the ordinary or keyundergraduate universities and colleges of higher vocational and technical institutions in Hebei Province,total of87colleges for the study. Though literature, and survey of mathematical statistics, survey and logicanalysis and other methods, it was investigated that the main administration, coaches, athletes and sportsvenues and other aspects of the college in Hebei.We have SPSS12.0system and Excel application softwarefor the data and statistics. Research findings are as follows:1. Although the president is in charge ofcolleges or universities directly in Hebei, implementing a secondary management, there are the absence ofsome sports or college sports team leaders, members of instability, abnormal meetings and uncompletedwork plans.2. Hebei University coaches academic levels, and the high titles coaches have low proportion.Especially in ordinary colleges and universities, and advanced vocational academy, the proportion isexcessive low; Coach overall quality is not high, and part-time work is quite serious. It is lack of full-timecoaches. Coaches need to improve job training system, to strengthen training and exchanges.3. Thesources of athletes take on diversification, and the overall level is not high. High-level athletes tend toconcentrate on key colleges and high-level priority sports academies pilot. The distribution is uneven,talented athletes had great loss as well.4. The overall University Gyms situation in Hebei is not satisfactory.Sports funding has its shortage. The venue of some technological academy are in particularly poorcondition.In view of the current after-school training situation in Hebei Colleges, through prearrangedinterviews with the college after-school training of experts, conscientiously study the state higher education policies, laws, regulations, and documents, in the light of specific circumstances all colleges anduniversities in Hebei Province,we put forward a development strategy on after-school training in thecolleges and universities in Hebei Province:1. To improve College sports management mechanismconstantly2.To strengthen coach’s job training system, and to improve the professional quality level ofcoaches.3To raise the overall level of athletes;4. To consummate comprehensive utilization of facilities ofthe school’s sports facilities and stadiums.
