The student-centered participation in classroom teaching requirements of thetimes, is the quality education the call of the student body, it has a profoundtheoretical basis and practical significance of geography teaching, there are stilldrawbacks of neglecting the development of the student body. In order to solve theshortcomings of traditional education, the key to the overall development of studentsis the students’ participation in classroom teaching.Students actively involved inteaching an effective way to create harmony, equality, democracy and teachingatmosphere, allow students to independently participate in teaching activities, andestablish a scientific evaluation system.This text takes geography new course as to study background, throughquestionnaires and teaching experiments, the principal involved in classroomteaching model components, features, operating procedures and implementationstrategies, and conducted in-depth study.The thesis is divided into following six bigparts.First part introduction, first introduce now classroom teaching mode existence ofproblem, and further leads to the main body involved in the teaching mode, and thatthe meaning of the subject to participate in classroom teaching model is based onmodern educational theory in order to promote the overall development of students asthe goal, the students’ participation in teaching activities as the core, based on modernteaching methods for teaching the basic structure and activities program. Anddescribed the main purpose of the meaning and significance to participate in theteaching mode, and the traceability of domestic and foreign entities to participate inteaching.
