"The Instruction Summary Of Curriculum reform In Country Elementary education"has been promulgated by the country Ministry of Education in January, 2001.And"The Geography Curriculum Standard In the Full-time Compulsory education (Experiment Manuscript)", the first nationwide geography curriculum standard, has also been officially promulgated in July in the same year, and what changes along with it is the new geography teaching material. How to implement the new curriculum in geography became the focus which was paid attention to by experts in geography teaching theory and the teachers. So"The instructive strategy research in geography classroom of seventh grade"has been determined under such background.The paper research underwent four stages: the first draft design of teaching strategy, the investigation and study of teaching strategy, the experimental study of teaching strategy, the determination of teaching strategy etc. The research methods are mainly the literature investigation and study law, the investigation method from experts and the experimental one. And following conclusions have been obtained after the research:There are mainly nine big teaching strategies in geography classroom teaching of seventh grade,including the strategy of demonstration and observation, the strategy of interpreting drawings and cognition, the strategy of filling in drawings and graphs, the strategy of relieving provincial characteristics, the strategy of geography activity, the strategy of manufacture to observe and emulate, the strategy of synthetic analysis in geography, the strategy of inquiring into the typical questions and the strategy of independently cooperative study.There are respective teaching strategies in three teaching modules in geography of seventh grade, there are mainly five strategies in"the Earth and map", including the strategy of demonstration and observation, the strategy of manufacture to observe and emulate, the strategy of geography activity, the strategy of interpreting drawings and cognition and the strategy of filling in drawings and graphs. Meanwhile, there are mainly four strategies in the teaching strategy of"the general remarks in world geography", including the strategy of interpreting drawings and cognition, the strategy of filling in drawings and graphs, the strategy of geography activity and the strategy of independently cooperative study. In addition, there are mainly six strategies in the teaching strategy of"the separate remarks in world geography", including the strategy of relieving provincial characteristics, the strategy of inquiring into the typical questions, the strategy of synthetic analysis in geography, the strategy of interpreting drawings and cognition, the strategy of geography activity and the strategy of independently cooperative study.There are seven major characteristics in the instructive strategy in geography classroom of seventh grade: It is characterized by intuition; Teaching strategies vary among different content modules in geography teaching; There are interchangeability and migratory nature in the application; Great attention has been paid in order to raise the students'interest in geography study; Great attention has also been paid in order to raise the students'basic methods in geography study; It focuses on relating the local geography knowledge to study the world geography; It stresses on raising the students'positive consciousness.Function and utilization scope in the instructive strategy in geography classroom of seventh grade are as following: the knowledge and the skill, the process and the method, the emotion, manner and the values in the instructive strategy in geography classroom of seventh grade, so it makes benefit for students' full-scale development. And what's more, it suits all seven grade students in the implementation, and the teaching result obviously is enhanced especially in students with medium.
