The competition of World Competitive Aerobics is increasingly fierce with thedifficult action combination becoming the game-winning magic tool, and develops into"hard, new, stable, beautiful" aspects, which marks that the International CompetitiveAerobics have entered into a new level of competition. The application and innovationof the difficulty combinations will become the core of the development of thecompetitive calisthenics skills. From the perspective of the research content of worldcompetitive aerobics,there are not too many researches on difficulty combinations ofworld competitive aerobics. Therefore, it has a special significance to research andexplore the status quo, development trend and innovation of difficulty combination oncompetitive aerobics gymnastics. This study takes “The Analysis of DifficultyCombinations in Nearly Three-time World Aerobics Championships and TheirCountermeasures Research on Innovative Development” as research topic, completesets of difficulty combination action from the top six athletes in five projects of the9thto11thWorld Competitive Aerobics Championship as study objects, analyzes and exploresthe application, innovation and development trend of difficulty combination actionswith the research methods including literature, comparative analysis, video statistics inan effort to provide a reference for teaching and training of domestic competitiveaerobics and improve the total technical levels of domestic competitive aerobics.Research conclusion:(1) The application and innovation of the difficulty combined action of the9th-11thWorld Competitive Aerobics Championships showed an increasing trend. After rule wasformally introduced in2005,20completely different difficulty combinations of actionarose; compared with the9th, the10thhad14more new difficulty combination actions,while the11thhad a new increase of13differrent difficulty combinations of action,which directly reflects an increasing use of difficulty combined action and shows increasingly important position of innovation in World Aerobics Championship.(2) According to the complete sets of action of top six athletes in the9th-10thWorldCompetitive Aerobics Championship, the main form of difficulty combination was C-Aand C-C, the unprecedented form of A-B and C-D arose in the11th. Among them, theutilization rate of form C-A and C-C reached66.36%and33.64%respectively.However, the categories of the difficulty combination actions have some limitations.(3) According to the complete sets of action of top six athletes in the9th-10thWorldCompetitive Aerobics Championship, the main difficulty combinations in the firstelement was Class C difficulty; the most widely used is the pick jump, accounting for36.45%, the second is pike straddle class for30.84%; the third is the Cossack Jumpclass of16.82%. Class A difficulty movement-Thomas class difficulty in the firstelement had emerged in the11thmen’s singles. The difficulty combinations of each itemin the second element had10kinds of difficulty action, the most commonly used is theextracting-hip-up of Class A difficulty for48.60%, the second is the jump of Class Cdifficulty for15.89%, the third is the straddle cut of Class A for12.15%. The difficultyaction of horizontal support of Class B and swivel action of Class D arose in the secondelement for the first time in the11thWorld Aerobics Championship, which had enrichedthe action-selecting in the second element. The selection for the difficulty combinationsin the second element often depends on the convergence of the actions in the firstelement in an effort to perform the actions smooth and dynamic.(4) The combination action scores of each item in the first element in9th-11thWorldAerobics Championship were mainly distributed in0.5-0.8point,0.8point ranked thefirst place accounting for36.45%, followed by0.7point accounting for27.10%, and thethird is0.5and0.6point accounting for19.63%and14.02%respectively; in the secondelement, the action scores distribution was in0.4-1.0point,0.7point ranked firstaccounting for31.78%, followed by0.5point for accounting25.23%and the third was0.8point accounting for12.15%.(5) In the9th-11thWorld Aerobics Championship, the difficulty combined actionswere mainly distributed in the preceding set (1-5) and middle set (5-9), including58and39actions accounting for55.05%and35.78%respectively.18difficulty actions in the3-4position took the first place, followed by16distributed in the1-2position, the third and fourth were located in the4-5and6-7position,15and14respectively; the thirddistributed in the4-5position and6-7position, each of them had14actions.(6) The development countermeasures of difficulty combination on competitiveaerobics: improve the innovative thinking of the difficulty combination of competitiveaerobics, expand the innovative approaches of the difficulty combination of competitiveaerobics, create more difficulty combinations, improve the training method ofcompetitive aerobics and enhance the special fitness of the athletes.
