The Research Of The Current Teaching Situations Of The Volleyball Collective Course In The Colleges And Universities In Tangshan

School physical education is closely relevant with the intellectual education and moraleducation and it is the important part of the school education. The most basic organizationform of the school physical education is the PE class which is the process of carrying out thescientific and systematic physical education. The volleyball collective course is one of the PEclasses that the general institution of higher learning in China. It is helpful to improve theendurance, strength and flexibility of the students and hence it plays an important role incultivating the collectivism spirit, the patriotic sentiment and the hard-working and tenaciousspirit. And it is also good for the constant popularity and development of the volleyball sportsin China. The colleges and universities own rich sports resources and it is an important projectfor how to take advantage of the current resources in the colleges and universities to exploitthe functional values of the volleyball in order to prompt the development of this kind oftraditional item and cultivate the volleyball players with overall development.The economic development in Tangshan is very quick and the public also like the sportsand hence there is certain PE atmosphere. However, in recent years, the development ofvolleyball collective course in the colleges and universities in Tangshan is not optimistic. Inorder to understand the factors which influence the successful development of the volleyballcollective course in depth and find out the measures to prompt further development of thevolleyball collective course. This paper is based on the relevant theories and takes advantageof the methods of the document literature, the questionnaire survey and the logical analysis tocarry out the research. The research object of this research is the development situations of thevolleyball collective course in the colleges and universities in Tangshan. Through the analysisof the collected information, the author finds out the factors which restrain the successfuldevelopment of the volleyball collective course in the colleges and universities in Tangshan.And on the basis of the deep analysis, the author puts forward the recommendations andcountermeasures to prompt the successful development of the volleyball collective course inorder to provide the theoretical basis and the practical basis for the relevant departments whenthey carry out the course change towards the volleyball collective course and prompt the development of the volleyball collective course in the colleges and universities in China.This paper selects the teachers and students in the volleyball collective classes in ninecolleges and universities in Tangshan randomly to carry out the questionnaire survey. Theresults of the survey show the following issues in the development of the volleyball collectivecourse: Firstly, there are great differences in the sports ability and basis between the studentswhich influence the teaching atmosphere and effects of the volleyball collective course.Therefore, it is not good to develop the ability and individuality of the students. Secondly, thelevel of the education background of the teachers is lower and hence they are not able to adaptto the demands of the development of the volleyball collective course teaching. Thirdly, theteachers of the volleyball collective course only regard the volleyball collective course as thecourse for the physical education but not pay attention to cultivate the psychological healthand the ability of adapting to the society. At the same time, they do not build the individuallearning objectives to show the education ideas of the subjectivity. Fourthly, the limitation ofthe teaching contents influence the learning interests of the students and the time for teachingis less and the teachers also ignore the allocation of the time for the tactics, the theories andthe games. Fifthly, the number of the students in the volleyball collective course in thecolleges and universities in Tangshan does not adapt to the requirements of the course setting.Sixthly, the teaching methods of the teachers can not meet the teaching requirements of thevolleyball collective course. And the methods are old. Seventhly, the contents for the learningappraisal are not overall and can not show the overall requirements of the teaching aims. Andthey seldom consider the teaching aims towards the emotions and the social development.Eighthly, the volleyball court and equipments are not reasonable.On the basis of analyzing these issues, this paper puts forward the recommendations toprompt the further development of the volleyball collective course: Firstly, deepen theteaching change of the volleyball collective course. Secondly, improve the quality of theteachers and optimize the structure of the teachers. Thirdly, make the scientific teaching aims.Fourthly, optimize the teaching contents. Fifthly, take advantage of the comprehensiveteaching methods. Sixthly, perfect the systems for the appraisal. Seventhly, improve the volleycourt and the equipments.
