School volleyball as a single part of spare competition sports, has its unique function, as a group of volleyball match, it has no direct contact, on the one hand, can strengthen the communication between the classmate, constructing harmonious interpersonal relationship, cultivate the team cooperation ability and competition ability which the modern society really need, on the other hand , also abounded the culture of university campus. Organizate volleyball competition is the important content of school physical education that underlie the volleyball level in colleges, but also an important way to realize the purpose of school physical education . This study of literature, use quesstionnaire, expert interview, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other methods to study the school volleyball competition status that normal universities and henan's colleges of undergraduate course, the result indicates that:Currenttly,school volleyball competition held less number of small scale ,competition form is more onefold,the school leader value degree, low location equipment,low funds and other factors to effect the school volleyball competition, that normal universities and henan's colleges of undergraduate course, in addition students lack the teacher's instruction, the limitations of project oneself and competition's level are effect on students' enthusiasm of the impact to participate in the volleyball competition in a certain extent.Aimed at the problems put forward the following countermeasures: first, increase the number of games and teams, expand game scale; Secondly, to improve school leadership value degree, enlarging the funds investment, expand funding sources; Again, perfect competition system improve competition quality, conducting various forms of volleyball match; Perfect facilities and infrastructure construction, take certain measures to strengthen the guidance of the teachers often; Finally, strengthen the propaganda of the game, in order to better school volleyball competition.
