The world is facing a learning revolution today,people’s concept about effective learning has undergone a fundamental change.Teaching center of gravity has turned from how to teach to how to learn,from results to process,from mechanical practice to understanding and using knowledge. Student no longer considered as the containers of knowledge,but knowledge constructioner and generationer.Science education concern training of scientific thinking,like scientists who depend on establish of model as communication medium. Building model and using model is the basic way to form scientific thinking.But in science education practice teaching,teachers less or the model in developing students’view,also do not attach importance to the construction of modeling ability.Thus, students’view about model is still stady in specific level,which make science learning hindered,and neglect the training of modeling ability.This paper focus on process of modeling learning in science education.This article draws on the foreign and home research experience about building model and learning by model,analysis psychological occurrence process about building knowledge model,focus on learner building model and meaningful learning ability. This paper is mainly to solve the following problems:1. What is model. Model has frequently used in science education,most people from tangible model to realize the objective world, ignore human inner to grasp this mental models, namely the framework for knowledge ability. Therefore, this paper introduction systematic understanding about model and inductive classification and functional about model.2.Why modeling and Understanding learning process about modeling. Human being is a flexible learners, actively acquire knowledge and skills of the actors. Modeling is by thinking and imagination, using symbols and language, from experience of induction and processing unknown event of the essential nature of process.Thus,what is modeling study process?3.Analysis modeling study case in science education. Good study comes not from teachers find a good teaching methods, but from give learners better chance to construct.
