Research On Legal Education Of Undergraduates

Colleges and universities are schools of higher education for citizens. Personnel training, scientific research and social services to its three main functions. Undergraduates are citizens of accepting higher education and professionals of training by national in colleges and universities. Undergraduates’legal education is one the educational activity which is training students’legal knowledge, legal awareness and legal practice as the main content during quality education and training students to be one senior personnel who has higher legal quality, practical ability, legal concept and even legal beliefs. On the one hand, undergraduates’legal education is adapting to the new international situation in China, building a socialist market economy, promoting the rule of law and harmonious society, strengthening the educational needs of the socialist legal system. On the other hand, undergraduates’legal education is the educational needs of cultivating compound talents, improving students overall quality, preventing and reducing students’criminal behavior. In these big backgrounds and environments, undergraduates’legal education in China has a considerable progress, but problems can not be ignored. Therefore, strengthening the research of undergraduates’legal education is particularly important.This thesis’researching starts from theoretical and practical background of undergraduates’legal education in colleges and universities. To explain the significance of strengthening undergraduates’legal education and the significance of this topic and thesis writing, and have a comprehensive narrative of research status at home and abroad, and have a simple list of approach to the study. The author of the exposition of the connotation of the College Students in legal education, a more comprehensive definition of the concept of rule of law, legal education and undergraduates’legal education, the concept of legal education on undergraduates’, the nature, content, target, channel, and The theoretical basis for a comprehensive exposition of the major problems on college undergraduates’legal education from the countries, universities and undergraduates, and try to put forward corresponding feasible countermeasures. This thesis highlights two new legal education models of Nanchang colleges and universities in the countermeasures part,"To build by Universities and Procuratorate" and " To build by Universities and Police department".The writing of this thesis, I hope to do something for undergraduates’legal education in Jiangxi province and the whole country.
