Study On The Guidance Of Modern College Students’ Values

With the development of our society and economy, the values of contemporary university students are also changing gradually. They pay more attention to their personality, equality as well as independence. They are good at thinking independently in the hope of seeking the truths. They prefer to realize their dreams and values in reality life rather than in daydreams. They are not only independent but also confident.But many of our university teachers who advocate respecting teachers train students as their loyal listeners. They follow the traditional force-feeding method, and neglect the diversity of education. Because of their backward concept and not abundant experience, they lay more attention on the book knowledge than the students’ individual growth. So it is high time we should change our traditional concept to create the new ways to guide them.The first chapter of this paper put forward the problems which exist among the contemporary students. Meanwhile, the paper analyses the cause and the root of these problems.The second chapter tell us that the main value of our society is the socialist core value system. Great changes have taken place about the students’ value recently. The writer also analyses the reasons and characteristics deeply.The third chapter is the focus of this article, which expounds the important meaning and foundation of the students’ establishing correct leading values, analyses the path of guiding students to set up the right values. That is, changing ideas, respect their subject status, play a role of main channel of ideological and political theory course, form the young team of professional moral education and standardization, cultivate healthy university spirit of full guide, forge outstanding school culture. In this chapter, the author holds the view that we should innovate when guiding the university students to set up the correct values, that is, implementing the education idea, the education method, the education form content, and education environment and so on. The fourth chapter is the epilogue part, summarizing the significance of guiding the correct values and appreciating the help from the professor sincerely.Contemporary China is playing more and more important role on the world stage. Our university moral education workers can not hidebound but make moral education become a long term, sustained, permanent job. We should try our best to adapt our university students to the development of the society so as to make them the qualified builders and successors.
