The historical knowledge in primary school is mainly taught in the Morality and Societycurriculum. And the learning card is an indispensable means in the classroom teaching aboutthe historical knowledge in primary school.The learning card has a variety of characteristics including flexibility, easy-making andlow cost, so it is definitely necessary to design and make use of it according to different classtypes and the practical needs in the daily teaching. The learning card can achieve really goodresults that are in accodance with primary school students’ congnitive characteristics andintelligence development levels. Thus, the historical knowledge teaching activities can bemore effective and the classroom teaching will be improved and optimized as well.The application of learning card should be in compliance with “New CurriculumStandards”. Moreover, the design should meet the needs of the concret teaching objectivesand procedures, centered in students and rally close round the teaching materials. Theapplication of learning card is an effective way for teachers in contents selection andenrichment, and a kind of capability for classroom management and teaching design.
