The primary "morality and society" textbook contains a comprehensive knowledge of politics,history, geography and so on. These knowledge in line with the characteristics of this stage of children’s cognition. Based on the historical knowledge in Primary School of Jiangsu province ", the moral character and society" in the textbook as the research content, research the historical knowledge in the textbook of moral and social significance, characteristics, on this basis, suggestions for teachers how to use the knowledge of history textbook, at the same time as the editor how to improve knowledge of history textbook.First of all, this paper uses the methods of literature study analysis, that the historical knowledge in primary school the number of morality and society class more,but there is no systematic study of scholars of historical knowledge on morality and society in primary school textbooks, so the research content of this paper is to determine the knowledge of history textbook.Secondly, this paper analyzes the significance of historical knowledge, morality and society textbook: strengthen the patriotism and national education of historical knowledge; historical knowledge to cultivate students’ sense of historical mission;improve the readability of the textbook of historical knowledge; explain social phenomena with the knowledge of history; historical knowledge, broaden their horizons, cultivating students’ Humanistic quality.Then, combined with the results of statistical analysis, knowledge of history textbooks make a comprehensive analysis of the consolidation, and summarizes characteristics of historical knowledge is mainly has: the morphological distribution showed scattered; material selection for literature and history; content is Chinese history; typesetting highlight the vivid.Thirdly, puts forward suggestions on how to better use knowledge of the history,to analyze from the view of teachers with different teaching content, to provide some practical methods for knowledge of history textbooks can be used in a more effective.Finally, how to improve the textbook writers in the history of knowledge point of consideration from the textbook, puts forward three points: the distribution of historical knowledge needs to be improved; gradient learning of history culture can not be ignored calls for a reasonable; at the same time pay attention to the students’ ability of historical thinking.
