After the new curriculum reformation,the course of history has been called off in the primary school,thus the historical knowledge is mainly incorporated into Morality and Society.Through Morality and Society,students may acquire the knowledge of Chinese and world history,and foster the core accomplishments,for instance: patriotic consciousness,international consciousness and good moral qualities,etc.Taking the historical knowledge of the current textbook Morality and Society,version of Education & Science Press,as the research basis,the author aims at studying the historical education activities in the course of Morality and Society of the primary school,analyzing the characteristics of the historical knowledge in the textbook,exploring how to carry out the historical education activities in Morality and Society class.The thesis provides suggestions of the teaching relating to the primary school historical knowledge for the teachers,and offers examples of carrying out the historical education activities and cultivating students' essential qualities.The thesis mainly includes the following contents:The introduction part dwells on the study origin,research object and significance,literature review,definition of concepts,research approach and methods.Section one: the historical knowledge in the textbook of the E&S Press version.This chapter analyzes the distribution of historical knowledge and the historical contents in the E&S Press version of textbook,summarizes the characteristics of primary school history knowledge,for instance: large span of historical time,the major part being the Chinese history,the diversified graphic presentation of historical contents,refined and simple historical knowledge,and the historical knowledge lack of systematization,etc.Section two: the historical education activities in the Morality and Society class.Based on the above analysis of history contents in Morality and Society textbook,the thesis clarifies the two main types of carrying out the Morality and Society history education activities,from the two directions—inside and outside classroom;inside-classroom teaching activities include the subject teaching activities,early morning class activities,interest in learning history,reading activities and theme class meetings,etc;outside-classroom history education activities include flag-raising educational ceremony,holiday activities,social practice and self determined activities,etc;then puts forward the strategies of developing these history education activities,especially points out that developing these historical education activities requires to clarify the study topics,arrange the teaching contents elaborately,confirm the teaching methods and strategies.Finally,the thesis designs two lesson examples,the subject teaching activities and early class activities.Section three: reflection on the historical education activities of the Morality and Society class.Through the reflection,the thesis specifically points out the problems of developing subject teaching activities and early class activities,for instance: the ambiguous teaching objects of the historical knowledge in the Morality and Society class,the problem of localizing the historical knowledge,lack of professional teachers,students' troubles in learning,teachers' teaching difficulties and so on,and correspondingly provides relevant countermeasures and suggestions.Section four: new thinking of the historical education activities in the primary school after the implementation of the new textbook.This chapter briefly explains the implementation of the new textbook since 2016;the new textbook focuses on cultural history,especially the Chinese splendid traditional culture,which directly influences carrying out the activities of history education in primary school after the implementation of new textbook.Finally the author offers suggestions and thoughts about developing historical education activities after the implementation of new textbook that it requires to focus on the cultural history,combine with other subjects,and continuously pay attention to the circumstances of the new textbook's implementation.The conclusion part summarizes the main contents of the thesis,and points out the deficiency of the thesis.
