The teachers of ideological and political theory course are not only the preachers of Marx theory and the party’s line,principles, policies,but also the propagators of socialist ideology and the spiritual civilization.So it has important significance to establish a scientific teacher evaluation system.Current evaluation is a kind of "summative evaluation",which pays more attention to reward and punishment.Under this system, the assessment targets are not clear, evaluation index design is not scientific and evaluation methods are not comprehensive. As time goes on, the top-down evaluation model is increasingly exposed its drawbacks. Howerer,360-degree feedback method pays more attention to"developmental evaluation", which takes a plural subject assessment way, emphasizing the outcome feedback of assessment and promoting the development of evalutor.This article mainly used the methods of content analysis and interview. In the content analysis method, we selected fifty evaluation articles of the college ideological and political theory course as samples, then determined the analysis units and classification systems, then coded the samples and made statistics. According to the data obtained, we found that studies in multiple evaluators are increasing; current evaluators are mainly students; peer evaluation is used at least;360-degree evaluation method had been highly recognized in theory but has not been carried out in practice. In order to understand the problems we found in content analysis,we interviewed eight teachers of ideological and political theory course.From them,we knew the reasons for the choice of evaluation subjects. The main advantages of other evaluators spurred an increasing number of studies in multiple evaluators and encouraged people to integrate them into the assessment. However, because of the defects of the current assessment system and the main shortcomings of themselves,360-degree feedback method is difficult to apply in reality.Finally, based on the above research findings, we further discussed the value of360-degree feedback method in the application of university teacher evaluation and the problems it will occur during the application. Through discussion,we know that in order to carry out the method smoothly,we need to do a lot of work such as strengthening the construction of campus culture promoting the concept of developmental evaluation; improving the evaluation index gradually; implementing the classification evaluation model; focusing on the personnel training and so on.
