Entering for the national civil servant examination is a career choice of undergraduates, and it can bring new vigor and vitality to our country. In fact, this phenomenon is unimpeachable, but it has become a trend which is increasing continually. Especially since2002, with the increase in the number of graduates and the employment pressure, there are more and more undergraduates in China’s colleges and universities register for the national civil servant examination. So many students entering for the exam and the number increasing so fast make us take this phenomenon seriously.Of course, many causes lead to this social phenomenon. But as training organizations, colleges and universities have responsibilities and obligations to think over the existing problems and take some measures to relieve these problems. This thesis mainly analyzes the problems existing in this phenomenon and some relief measures from school’s view. At first, this thesis analyzes the causes which lead to the civil servant craze of undergraduates. Then it points out some existing problems in China’s colleges and universities from schools’view. Thus, it indicates some shortcomings in university students’employment guidance system, some problems in subjects and cultivation mode and some issues in education value and ideological education. At last, in order to solve these problems, this thesis presents some exact relief measures. Firstly, the university students’employment guide system should be perfected. Secondly, subjects and cultivation mode in university education need to be improved. Thirdly, colleges and universities should build up right education values. Fourthly, colleges and universities should strengthen students’ ideological education. The writer hopes these measures can offer some helpful ideas to colleges and universities, promoting the development of colleges and universities better, and improving the employment of graduates.
