In recent years, Chinese Governmental function is gradually perfect. Civil servant, as the dominant force in operating government administration, faces a huge psychological stress. Heavy psychological stress not only affects individual physical and mental health, to some extent, but has a serious impact on the administrative efficiency of government. At this point, the author feels the need to conduct a study on psychological condition of civil servant. Tai Chi, one of the positive means in strengthening human’s body and preventing disease, its fitness function has been generally accepted. But the function of making mental health has still yet been recognized, meanwhile, and the study on the impact of Tai Chi on the psychological stress of occupational groups is so little. Tai Chi can, therefore, as a way to promote mental health and alleviate the psychological stress of civil servant, is worthy for us to explore. On the basis of reading lots of books as reference, combining the results of interview, the author analyses the stress source and reaction of civil servant and conducts SCL-90 Psychological self-evaluation questionnaires among 60 training personnel from 2014 Changchun Municipal Party. Through Two-month Tai Chi teaching, this paper researches the relationship between tai chi and psychological stress of civil servant. The conclusion is as follows:1. Based on the first two data analysis on symptom self-evaluation which shows that the summarization factor, the sensitive factor of human relationships and paranoid factor before and after doing Tai Chi have obvious changes, three factors(P < 0.05) having significant differences. Furthermore, there is a very notable meaning on the depression factor(T depression factor= 2.25, P = 0.001), the anxiety factor(T anxiety = 3.46, P = 0.000) and two factors(P < 0.01). Experiments show that Tai Chi plays a pivotal role in relieving negative emotions caused by psychological stress.2. However, the force factor and hostile factor, the terrorist factor and mental disorder factor have hardly any change before and after the experiment. According to the same data analysis, the fluctuation of hostile factor, forcing factor, horror factor, psychotic factor are all in the normal range, so it is hard to estimate whether playing Tai Chi has a significant effect.3. After two-month exercise, the number of civil servant who suffering from headache, respiratory system, delusion and energy loss is proved to be eliminated and eased obviously. It shows that Tai Chi has a positive effect on alleviating physically sick caused by psychological pressure.
