| The key to education lies in quality; the key to the quality lies in the classroom; the key to the classroom lies in teaching and the key to teaching lies in its effectiveness. Effectiveness reflects the realization degree of expected results and it includes the meaning of efficiency and effect. Classroom teaching behavior refers to, in order to realize certain teaching targets, the sum of all kinds of activities in promoting development process between behavioral agents in class. Effective teaching behavior stands for the teaching behavior which can push students’development and progress as well as the teachers’professional growth. Specific to every lesson, effective classroom teaching includes those behaviors that can promote the realization of teaching objectives. It is the reality basis to judge the effectiveness of teaching behavior from educational aims to teaching objectives, under the instruction of which, effective teaching behavior is bound to reflect the relevant characters. Therefore, no matter which link changes, the effectiveness of teaching behavior will change accordingly. Nowadays, basic education curriculum and curriculum reform not only stress teaching quality, but also vigorously advocate the effectiveness of teaching to push the students’effective study and personal growth. On the basis of predecessors’theoretical literature and combining the methods of classroom observation and interview, the writer researches on the effective classroom teaching among high school teachers.The whole paper is divided into six parts. The first part briefs on the reason significance and theoretical basis of the paper. The second part generalizes the outlines of relative researches both at home and abroad, briefly comments on the study situation of both at home and abroad and gives the definition of effective classroom teaching. The third part introduces the study methods such as literature, observation and interview. The forth part researches and analyzes the present situation of effectiveness of high school classroom teaching. Through the methods of observation and interview, as well as the help of software SPSS13.0in analyzing the statistics, it briefly narrates the problems and reasons of high school classroom teaching. In part five, on the basis of former study, the writer puts forward mainly six strategies to promote the effectiveness of high school classroom teaching, such as: strengthening curriculum consciousness of high school teachers to change traditional teaching philosophy, improving the understanding of the classroom discussion and creating the opportunities of classroom discussion, strengthening teachers’nonverbal behaviors to themselves, improving the understanding of the exercises in classroom,elevating teachers’ humanistic literacy and improving the fairness of the classroom questioning,cultivating teachers’reflective competence.The sixth part, it gives the brief summary to the former study. |
