In the context of today’s society technological innovation, folk art as the essence of traditional Chinese culture urgent need to be properly protected and heritage. But web-based course has already become the main form of teacher’s continuing education. Putting protection and heritage of folk art into web-based course for teacher’s continuing education, can promote the education of school folk art education, also can hand down folk art from generation to generation via students at the same time. Therefore, folk art on web-based course is of great significance.The main content of this article is to get through anglicizing and researching folk art on Web-Based course for elementary school art teacher in Hangzhou, identify problems and reasons for folk art of teacher education, and make solving strategies.This text is including5parts:Part1proposes the origin of this research, and summarizes comprehensively for related academic research in and abroad, and defines the key concept. Part2states the elaborate relation of folk art and web-based course, and puts forward the theoretical foundation of the web-based course of the folk. Part3is a survey analysis on the education situation of web-based courses for Folk Art in Hangzhou, at the same time identify the main issues of the folk art in the elementary school art teacher continuing education online and summarize findings, through specific information on art teachers who participate in educational training of the elementary school and their opinions on folk art and curriculum implementation. Part4presents teaching suggestions for improvement, and at the same time, to clarify the meaning and future trends of the primary school art teacher of folk art web-based course. The fifth part of the conclusion.
