The Research Of The Relationship Between The Integrity In Higher Education And The Ideological And Political Education

Honesty is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, as well as the foundation of socialist market economy and blooming of modern civilization. For us, it is the basic moral rules of all citizens. College students as the successors of socialist construction and the level of their sense of integrity are closely related to the sustainable development of our society. Ideological and political education in Colleges is a substantial part for fostering correct worldview and philosophy; therefore, it has great significance for the innovation of methods and the utility of education to strengthen the integrity education among them. This paper based on a survey on the integrity of students from North University of China, then, the writer analysis the current situation and the existing problems. These problems include: the concept of political education and honesty education is fall behind; the education environment does not up to the expectations; and the honesty education lack of specialized supervision and assessment system. Aiming at solve these existing problem, the author use the experience of other countries for reference and bring forth new ideas in the teaching methods. The schools should create a new path of honesty education in ideological and political education, which include establish a network system and carry out practical activities about honesty education actively. Further promote and improve the ideological and political education system through the establishment of integrity environment and supervisory system. So it has a strong theoretical and practical significance to enhance the study on the relationship between the integrity in higher education and the ideological and political education.
