Tujia people is a long-history, dilgent and kind, positive andenterprising spirit ethnic minority in the mainland,mainlydistributed in the Hunan, Chongqing and Guizhou borden region.More and more researchers focus on the study of Tujia nationality inrecent years, but mainly focus on the researchers such as language,customs, culture, history, while the study of Tujia women’seducation is not much. So the author choose Xiushan community asthe location of the investigatin, and ordinary women’s education isstudied.The study is based on the major change in Tujia history Gai tu guiliu as the watershed, compare Xiushan Tujia women before thereform to Xiushan Tujia women after the reform. And interpret thephenomenon from pedagogy, society, anthropology, educationalculture, educational anthropology and philosophy perspectives,discuss community research, the motional state of educationalchange by combing the educational change in the special period,and think about “cultural heritage” as a modern question.Since this paper is based on “ordinary women”s education of Tujiapeople" as the research core,literature review is mainly divided into "Tujia education" and "Tujia women education" two parts and carrieson the narration. Research method is not limited to commonly usedliterature, also with sociological research methods (case interviews,the community research) and research method of anthropology (fieldresearch) for education research. It can let us get more presencesensation and increase the magnitude of the thesis.Before Gai tu gui liu, Xiushan tujia women mainly acceptededucation in the family and village and other places. Educators arenot fixed, such as family, neighborhood, the village people, family andthe things around. Education content is very wide, not only haveknowledge of production and living, and ethics and history, art, andthe content of the national traditional culture,In the wide range of education content, customs, handmade arts andfolk cultural heritage need to be passed down generation aftergeneration.Since the implementation of "Gai-tu-gui-liu " policy, Han culturebegan to penetrate in mountain areas, Xiushan tujia areas ofeducation and the content of education before the situation is in starkcontrast. School education is widely implemented, education placesmore focus in school, the education object is more popular. Educationcontent and more along with the development of Chinese culture"Confucianism". During this period the change of education is theprocess of choice for the Xiushan Tujia culture between distance andterrain,and is full of tujia culture "convergence" of the great nationalspirit.Xiushan Tujia culture as a kind of community culture, experiencedthe brutal contend with civilization, advanced and backward process, through the impact from different civilizations. Before and after Gai tugui liu, the Xiushan Tujia women’s education in the face of theinvasion of the Han culture the civilization, is a kind of active attitude,is not simple "localization" process, is process of mutual adjustmentin Tujia culture and the Han culture, that is a state of "two-waymovement". This phenomenon is not only the problems of tujianationality, but other minorities in China have common problems; Thisphenomenon is not only Chinese ethnic culture and Han cultureinteraction process, but Chinese traditional culture and modernculture of interaction process.
