The Tujia people is the biggest national minority in Chinese hinterland who has been influencing by Han culture deeply. Academic circles' research to the Tujia people has concentrated in the researches of Tujia traditional culture which is different from the Han traditional culture and the Tujia region where Tujia traditional culture has been preserved much better, relatively neglected to turn the research to the culture which is similar to Han culture and the Tujia region where Tujia traditional culture is preserved badly. In the meantime, the Tujia's study is lack in the study of family and female. The thesis chooses the Xiushan region where Tujia traditional culture preservation isn't good enough to carry on a Tujia's families' research, and draws lessons from the research angle of feminism.This research takes the rural Tujia's families of the Xiushan region as a research point, paying attention to carry on contrast with the town Tujia's families in the meantime. This essay consists as follows: the change of the Tulia identity, daily life of the Tujia's families, family's structure, family's life history, various activities for carrying out family's function, various kinship relation of the family member's and family exterior of the Tujia's families in the Xiushan region.The development of society brings profound influence to the Tujia's...
