Tujia Xiushan Family Research

The Tujia people is the biggest national minority in Chinese hinterland who has been influencing by Han culture deeply. Academic circles' research to the Tujia people has concentrated in the researches of Tujia traditional culture which is different from the Han traditional culture and the Tujia region where Tujia traditional culture has been preserved much better, relatively neglected to turn the research to the culture which is similar to Han culture and the Tujia region where Tujia traditional culture is preserved badly. In the meantime, the Tujia's study is lack in the study of family and female. The thesis chooses the Xiushan region where Tujia traditional culture preservation isn't good enough to carry on a Tujia's families' research, and draws lessons from the research angle of feminism.This research takes the rural Tujia's families of the Xiushan region as a research point, paying attention to carry on contrast with the town Tujia's families in the meantime.
