The Tujia people are one of the national minorities in China with large populations, who usually lives in1000square kilometers areas around Daloushan, Wuling Moutain and Daba Mountain located in the east end of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Most of them settle down in Wuling Choteau in Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou province and the city of Chongqing. Schoolbased Curriculum Development (SCD for short) in No.1middle school in Badong County Hubei province has unique Tujia minority features, which is still on the way. This paper tries to seek for the basic line for the development of Tujia minority’s SC by analyzing the exploitation of SC in No.l middle school in order to offer the basis for its development.This paper recounts the development process and execute solutions of SC in No.1middle school in Badong. Combing the development of SC, I carried on research on its SC on basis of studying related document. There are five parts in my paper as follows: Introduction, The SCD of Tujia minority and its meaning, The process of Tujia minority SCD, The influence of SCD, The problems and suggestion on SCD.The first part of this paper gave a general introduction of the reason of subject-selection, relevant literature review and research methods. The second part represented the concept, theoretical background, basic ideas and the meaning of SCD. The third part stated the process of Tujia minority SCD in No.l middle school in Badong County with Tujia minority features in detail. The fourth part introduced the influence of SCD. The last part expounded problems of SCD in No.l middle school in Badong County and proposed corresponding suggestions.Since the operation of New Curriculum Reform in China, designed curriculum were divided into three classes of county, location and school. Especially the establishment of SCD satisfied the need of minority nationality regions, enhance their cultural quality, boost their education and contribute to the prosperity of multi national culture and harmonious development of socialism.
