The subject on the basis of previous studies, based on the variant teaching theory,geography teaching, systematic research on the teaching of school geography variant and itsappropriateness, proposed a the School Geography variant teaching basic strategy andteaching mode, and secondary school geography variant teaching applies to theappropriateness analyzed.The paper is divided into six parts.Chapter1: Introduction. The article brieflydiscusses the research background, significance and definition of related concepts werecombing the status and progress of the domestic and international research on the teaching ofthe variant.Chapter II: the study theoretical basis. Mainly elaborated variant teaching fivesupport points, a brief discussion of the theory of meaningful learning, Ausubel, Maddentheory, Gagne’s the wisdom skill level theory, Vygotsky’s zone of proximal developmenttheory and Piaget constructivist theory variant teaching.Chapter III: Secondary Geographyvariant teaching advantages and design principles. Compared from the traditional mode ofteaching secondary school geography teaching can lead to variant learning initiative,innovative thinking and thinking deep three major advantages, and targeted teachingsecondary school geography variant, thinking, development and subjectivity four designprinciples.Chapter4: The the School Geography Variant teaching case design.
