This thesis took a perspective of case teaching design, which focused on the geography methods and geography viewpoint cultivation. By analyzing basic theory of case teaching in middle school geography teaching, discussing geography methods and geography viewpoint cultivation, the basic perspectives which are included in the geography methods and geography viewpoint cultivation can be syncretized in case teaching. This thesis provided case teaching guide for middle school teachers, Main study methods include literature reading, theory analysis, practice research and comparison analysis etc.This thesis includes three parts:The first part mainly analyzed a few basic theory questions of teaching case study in middle school geography teaching. In order to differentiate all kinds cases which were often used in class, the case characters of geography teaching were indicated, furthermore the concept of geography case teaching were defined, at the same time geography case were classified from different viewpoints, application extent of different case were generalized.The second part discussed geography methods which must be learned by middle school students, how to incarnate basic viewpoint of geography methods in case teaching designs was especially paid more attention to. This thesis divided geography methods into four parts: namely geography observation, geography experiment, geography comparison and geography analysis methods. At the same time basis clues of geography method were analyzed in this part, combined with concrete case teaching, how to incarnate basic viewpoints of every scientific method in case teaching was discussed.The third part was divided into three parts also, namely the relationship of human being and the earth viewpoint, spatial viewpoint and adjust measures to local conditions viewpoint. Firstly, minds which are contained in every viewpoint were analyzed according to the geography theory; then combined with practice and concrete case, how to penetrate minds which are included in every viewpoint in geography case teaching was discussed greatly.
