| Objective:To observe the effects of repeated whole body cryotherapy onpromoting the athleteËŠs body fast recovery and related mechanism,and providemethodology basis for the athleteËŠs body fast recovery after intensivetraining.Methods:The10subjects were chosen randomly from the Beijing menËŠswrestling team,All gave informed consent to the study protocol,the athletes underwenttwice daily whole body cryotherapy treatment after training in the morning andafternoon for2weeks(Monday–Saturday)at the Beijng Research Institute Of SportsScience.Compare Biochemical indicators of the Serum testosterone(T)ã€cortisol(C)ã€T/C,Immunoglobulin(IgM﹑IgAã€IgG),Serum Creatine Phosphokinase(CK)ã€Serum Lactate Dehydrogenase(LDH)ã€Blood Urea(BU),and sleep quality before thewhole body cryotherapy treatment with those after2weeks of the whole bodycryotherapy treatment.Results:(1)Two weeks after the whole body cryotherapy,HPTincrease16.1%40.42%,and with significant difference (P <0.05);(2)After two weeksof the whole body cryotherapy,the serum of IgM﹑IgA and IgG increase48.8%﹑32.2.%and14.7%respectively,and has significant difference (P <0.05);(3)Twoweeks after the whole body cryotherapy,the serum T increased by4.3%,the serum Creduced7.8%,The serum T/C increased by19.0%,and the difference is not significant;(4)Two weeks after the whole body cryotherapy,the serum of CKã€LDH weredecreased by31.1%ã€15.4%,and with significant difference (P <0.05);(5)The serumBUN concentration fell by15.0%after two weeks of the whole body cryotherapy,andhas significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)The whole body cryotherapy canreduces the occurrence of sports haemolysis significantly after the intensive training(.2)The whole body cryotherapy can stimulate the immune system,and significantly adjust athleteËŠs immune function drops caused by intensive training.(3)The whole bodycryotherapy can significantly reduce the increases of the serum of creatine kinase andlactate dehydrogenase caused by intensive training,and protect the muscle cells ofnormal function effectively,reduce or slow muscle fiber damage degree,promoteathleteËŠs muscle fatigue after intensive training.(4)The whole body cryotherapy haveeffects of decompression and stabilization,and has a positive effects to adjustingathleteËŠs psychological condition,improve sleep quality of athletes. |
