Objective: In high-temperature and high humidity environment. exercise-induced fatigueis common problem in the process of sports training and competition The recovery ofexercise-induced fatigue and the performance back to training and competition in thehigh-temperature and high humidity environment is particularly important. This studyselected30cyclists in different recovery way to exercise-induced fatigue, and to exploringthe effect of restoration and re-active ability with cryotherapy after cycling in hot andhumid environment and to provide advices for the coaches and athletes to choosereasonable and effective recovery plan in training and competition.Methods: This study designed a self-control experimental, Subjects were divided intoexperimental group (G) and the control group (C),contrast the two ways includingcryotherapy recovery and rest recovery after increasing load cycling exercise and test heartrate, core body temperature andBlood lactic acid.After the recovery continue acid. Afterthe recovery continue exercise, test their riding time,RPE,heart rate, core body temperatureandBlood lactic acid and at last of the experiment test their reaction time. The subjects ofthe study consists of30healthy male cyclists from Beijing Riding Association, and theiraverage age was26.6±4.82years old. The cyclists must be perform two times to form aself-control.Results:1. The heart rate of experimental group athletes were Significantly lower than the controlgroup during6min to10min in the recovery phase and there was a significantdifference (P <0.05);In the end of recovery, the core body temperature of experimentalgroup and the control group respectively:36.96±0.30℃and37.12±0.30℃and therewas a significant difference (P <0.05); The blood lactic acid of experimental groupdecreased significantly faster than the control group,experiment groups of postexercise lactate concentration is3.59±1.28mmol/L, significantly lower than the controlgroup, which is4.48±1.65mmol/L and there was a significant difference (P <0.01).2. After different recovery the athletes continue increasing load cycling exercise. Theexperimental group’s endurance riding time was22.03±4.06min, which longer thanthat of the control group was19.43±3.57min, there was a significant difference(P<0.01); he RPE curves of the experimental group, were a upward trend; The averageheart rate of experiment group is131.58±27.00t/min were lower than the control groupwhich is134.55±25.11t/min and there was a significant difference (P<0.05); Experiment groups of post exercise lactate concentration is6.41±1.50mmol/L,significantly lower than the control group, which is6.90±1.06mmol/L, there was a significant difference (P<0.01);3. After the second time of increasing load cycling exercise the control group’s reactiontime after exercise was0.17±0.18s/min, the experimental was0.163±0.14s/min, whichwas significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05)Conclusions:Through the study of the self-control experiment of the cyclists, all the cyclists were notany discomfort of the cold therapy and exercise environment, these show that thecryotherapy security and reasonable. The cryotherapy is positive effect to the restorationand re-active ability; the cryotherapy improve the physical capacity of athletes.
