College students’ ideological and political education is one of the important parts of talents’cultivation and educational work. However, with the coming of a diverse and complex society along with the market economy, the diversification of social background, political culture, the ideological and political education of college and university students is facing more new problems and pressures.And at the same time, there exist many deeper questions in the ideological, political views, values, morality, and behavior norm among students of sciences and engineering in the new historical period; Sciences and engineering college students’ideological and political education is facing more serious challenges, Therefore, the work of the sciences and engineering college students’ ideological and political education urgently needs us to explore scientific method, to take effective measures, to make systematic research and analysis, and put forward effective countermeasures for the ideological and political education of students of sciences and engineering.
