| The causes of why many students have difficulties in learninghave been a major problem for schools,teachers and parents.They alsomake a great impact on the implementation of quality education aswell as the improvement of teaching quality.At present,with thecontinous improvement of the basic education curriculum reform,thegoal of the new English curriculum is further embodied by moderneducational theory and teaching philosophy. However, somechallengens, such as how to reform the traditional educationalphilosophy,teaching methods and ideas and how to achieve the goal ofEnglish curriculum in basic education stage,have been puzzling amajority of English teachers,especially for those in junior highschools.Zhuner’er Banner,where I worked,is an urban-rural town.Dueto various reasons,the aim of English education in our junior highschools is factly just to purpose the enrollment rate though it isseemingly important.Besides,the old teaching methods,low efficiencyof the classroom,the incomplete implementation of the new curriculum directly restrict the development of Zhunge’er Bannerjunior high school English education.This study is based on juniorhigh school English teaching and tries to reveal the fundamentalfactors of English learning difficulties by exploring the reasons for thedifficulties in English learning and using the result of a systematicanalysis.41students fron Zhunge’er Century School and No.3MiddleSchool are involved in the study.Through questionnaries,statisticalanalysis,inerviews and observation,a practical analysis is made,whichfinds out all kinds of factors that lead to students’ English learningdifficulties. |
